COMMENT - "As previously shown the 3dmark 2003 is a video card benchmark and changing the processor or motherboard doesn't increase the final score by very much. The ASROCK K7S8X wins the Wings of Fury test by 8% however loses most of the remaining game benchmarks to the Asus A7S333."

COMMENT - "Using Unreal Tournament 2003 the two motherboards both perform within 5% of each other and quickly become video card limited."

CONCLUSION - "The ASROCK K7S8X motherboard puts in a good performance against the older Asus A7S333 motherboard, the low resolution game benchmarks usually showed a large performance difference between the faster ASROCK K7S8X and the Asus A7S333. The difference in performance was partly caused by the poor memory controller on the Asus A7S333, DDR333 support was added to the SIS745 as an afterthought and was usually slower than using DDR266. The ASROCK K7S8X doesn't suffer from poor DDR333 memory performance like the Asus A7S333 motherboard does."
