COMMENT - "The Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT starts off strongly winning the first benchmark at 1024x768 by 3fps and drawing the second benchmark which is at 1280x1024. However once 4x Anti-Aliasing and 8x Anisotropic Filtering are enabled the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro starts to show it's strength by winning the two remaining resolutions comfortably."

COMMENT - "These results are pretty much the same as the previous benchmark, the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT wins all of the tests without anti-aliasing and anisotropic and the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro wins all of the tests with 4x anti-aliasing and 8x anisotropic filtering."

COMMENT - "For the first time we have a clear winner, the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro offers the best Unreal Tournament 2003 performance by 4% to 10%. The Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT tries to keep up but can't manage to beat the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro."

COMMENT - "It seems the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro has a hard time beating the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT when using OpenGL based games. The Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro loses to the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT by between 2% to 22% with X2."

CONCLUSION - "The Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro usually fails to beat the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT when using default settings. However when you turn on features like anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro managed to distance itself from the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT some of the time. The biggest performance advantage the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro has over the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT is it's efficent anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing and dx9 performance. The problem with the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro is it's price, it will set you back $197 (£141) compared to $175 (£128) for the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT. When you consider the fact that the Inno3D GeForce 5900 XT is usually faster makes the Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro too expensive."
