COMMENT - "3dmark 2005 is the latest version of the 3dmark programs and only DX9 video cards are compatible. The MSI NX 6600 GT manages to deliver an extra 35% performance compared to the OCUK ATI Radeon 9700 Pro. The poor DX9 performance with the GeForce FX is clearly shown when the MSI GeForce 5900 XT is beaten by the Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT by 39%."

COMMENT - "The MSI NX 6600 GT is once again the fastest video card by between 24% to 40% compared to the OCUK ATI Radeon 9700 Pro. Once again the MSI GeForce 5900 XT is the slowest and the Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT beats it between 20% to 50%."

COMMENT - "The MSi NX 6600 GT shows that it is no1 where PS1.1 pixel shading is concerned with a huge 36% victory over the other video cards and then again in the PS2.0 pixel shading test with a 31% performance increase over the other video cards. Once again you can see the poor DX9 performance with the MSI GeForce 5900 XT, it is beaten by the MSI NX 6600 GT by a huge 82%. Most modern games will be using DX9 and you can clearly see that the GeForce FX range will offer very poor DX9 performance."

DOOM III
MSI NX 6600 GT MSI GEFORCE 5900 XT OCUK ATI RADEON 9700 PRO SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9600 XT
COMMENT - "The MSI NX 6600 GT just loves the Doom Engine and here we see it delivering a performance increase between 25% to 38% which is pretty amazing. The ATI video cards put in some good performances especially considering that Doom 3 has always performed better on Nvidia hardware."

COMMENT - "With Half Life 2 the MSI NX 6600 GT delivers a performance increase of between 20% to 37% over the other video cards. The good result shown for the MSI GeForce 5900 XT is very misleading because unlike the other video cards it is using DX8. If it was to using DX9 like all of the other video cards then it's performance would be 50% less than shown."
