COMMENT - "The power of the Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT is shown very clearly with 3dmark 2003 (which contains dx7, dx8 and dx9 game benchmarks) where it finishes 33% faster than the second placed MSI GeForce 5900 XT. A bigger surprise came when we tested the Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT with 3dmark 2005 which is a very demanding dx9 only benchmark program. The Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT shows a huge performance advantage over the other video cards by finishing 35% faster than the second placed OCUK Radeon 9700 Pro. As reported widely in the press the poor dx9 performance of the MSI GeForce 5900 XT is shown when it finishes 69% slower than the Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT."

COMMENT - "The Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT puts in a great performance in this dx7 benchmark Wings of Fury. It is a fairly simple game benchmark which features world war two fighters and bombers. As you can see it doesn't stress the video cards too much and even the budget Sapphire Radeon 9600 XT delivers an impressive 144fps. The Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT is once again in a class of it's own delivering a 30% performance increase over the OCUK Radeon 9700 Pro in the Wings of Fury benchmark. Compared to Wings of Fury the other dx8 and dx9 game benchmarks are much more demanding, however the Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT is still able to manage a 31% to 37% performance increase."

COMMENT - "If you thought the 3dmark 2003 dx8 and dx9 benchmarks were demanding you have seen nothing yet. 3dmark 2005 is a dx9 only benchmark which features much more advanced graphical effects and is therefore much more demanding than the previous 3dmark benchmark. None of the video cards could deliver anywhere near playable performance so it's good that you don't actually play any of the game benchmarks. The Inno3D GeForce 6600 GT puts in another great performance and is between 24% and 40% faster than the other video cards."
