CLUB3D DELTACHROME S8 FEATURESDuoView S3 Graphics' DeltaChrome accelerators provide sixth-generation DuoView® technology. A single display adapter is capable of running output to two monitors. Each output device can be configured through the S3Graphics ScreenToys toolkit for its own independent refresh rate, resolution, and color depth. All this from a single graphics chip and a single set of drivers! The Single Adapter Multi-Monitor DuoView implementation in DeltaChrome allows different images to be displayed with independent timings, so your secondary monitor won't be limited to your laptop's 60 Hz refresh rate. Dual Monitor Support On Windows XP systems which support the attachment of two CRT devices, the DeltaChrome graphics accelerator and its driver software and utilities will allow the user great flexibility in configuring display resolution and refresh settings. Through the DuoView technology and the S3Display utility, the user can configure independent timings for each CRT. S3 Graphics' DeltaChrome provides hardware-assisted rotation for 90, 180, and 270 degrees of rotation. PicturePerfect™ DeltaChrome's PicturePerfect hardware anti-aliasing for full screen and WindowsXP text makes for a consistent, silky smooth-edged image. No more jaggies. S3 ScreenToys The S3 Graphics DeltaChrome software package includes the highly configurable S3 Graphics ScreenToys suite of utilities, designed for maximum efficiency and ease of use. Custom controls have been developed for the user interface to make tasks and feedback intuitive and easy to use. For those that wish to show off a unique look, S3 Graphics ScreenToys also support skinning. In addition, unified utility packaging provides a single set of files which support all operating systems and multiple languages. Installation is straightforward, without requiring the novice user to make decisions beyond the scope of their experience. Hardware Color Cursors DeltaChrome provides hardware support for color cursors and for color cursors with alpha blending. Pointer size can be as large as 64x64 pixels. WindowsXP users can activate color and alpha (for transparency effects) mouse pointers/cursors. DirectX™ 9.0, V8™ Pipeline DeltaChrome is equipped with programmable hardware shaders compatible with Pixel Shader version 2.0+ and Vertex Shader 2.0+. DeltaChrome actually goes beyond the DirectX 9.0 requirements with esoteric features for improved 3D and video quality. The DeltaChrome V8 Pipeline is a sophisticated and complex full 8 Pixel Pipeline. Hi-Def™ Computing HDTV is the final word when it comes to high resolution displays available today. Thanks to DeltaChrome's unique, integrated Hi-Def HDTV encoder technology, you can now get the most from HDTV resolution capable displays, televisions and projectors. Chromotion™ Programmable Video Engine The Chromotion Programmable Video Engine is a radical departure from fixed function video decoding and processing. The Chromotion engine has the flexibility to process MPEG-2/4, Windows Media Video, and other video standards. Fixed function processing such as iDCT is now handled by the programmable Chromotion engine. Post-processing to improve poor source material is an exciting new feature that will enhance video material such as webcasts. GENERAL SYSTEM INFORMATION
