Leadtek Winfast PX6600TD GeForce 6600 graphics processors are the first mainstream GPUs to support Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0 Shader Model 3.0, and a superscalar architecture for unprecedented performance in its class. BENCHMARK SETTINGS:- We use three different image quality and resolution settings when we benchmark computer hardware for review. Low quality setting uses a resolution of 1024x768 (unless otherwise stated) and all of the game settings are set to low, this setting will mostly test for processor rather than video performance. Medium quality setting uses a resolution of 1280x1024 (unless otherwise stated) and all of the game settings are set to medium, this setting will test both the processor and video performance. High quality setting uses a resolution of 1600x1200 (unless otherwise stated) and all of the game settings are set to high, this setting is a very demanding test for video rather processor performance!

COMMENT - "We are benchmarking the Nvidia technical demos such as Dawn, Dusk, Luna and Nalu which were originally created to show the advanced features of Nvidia video cards. The advanced Leadtek Winfast PX6600 starts off well outperforming the Gigabyte GeForce PCX 5900 by 9% with Nvidia Dawn. Even using the more demanding Dusk demo the Leadtek Winfast PX6600 delivers a good 22% performance increase over the Gigabyte GeForce PCX 5900. The Gigabyte GeForce PCX 5900 only supports SM2.0 and the Luna demo requires SM3.0 which is why there are only results for the Leadtek Winfast PX6600. The Nalu demo was created to advertise the GeForce6 range and the Leadtek Winfast PX6600 is part of the GeForce6 range which is why it's performance is 10 times better than the Gigabyte GeForce PCX 5900."
