| BENCHMARK SETTINGS:- We use three different image quality and resolution settings when we benchmark computer hardware for review. Low quality setting uses a resolution of 1024x768 (unless otherwise stated) and all of the game settings are set to low, this setting will mostly test for processor rather than video performance. Medium quality setting uses a resolution of 1280x1024 (unless otherwise stated) and all of the game settings are set to medium, this setting will test both the processor and video performance. High quality setting uses a resolution of 1600x1200 (unless otherwise stated) and all of the game settings are set to high, this setting is a very demanding test for video rather processor performance! |
3DMARK BENCHMARKS

COMMENT - "The Sapphire Hybrid x700 Pro starts off well with 3dmark 2001 SE and it beats the MSI NX 6600 GT by 4%. 3dmark 2003 favours the MSI NX 6600 GT which beats the Sapphire Hybrid x700 Pro by 9%. 3dmark 2005 is a good victory for the Sapphire Hybrid x700 Pro and it beats the MSI NX 6600 GT by 8%. 3dmark 2006 uses a combination of SM2.0 and SM3.0 benchmarks and although the Sapphire Hybrid x700 Pro can only run the SM2.0 benchmark the MSI NX 6600 GT is only 11% ahead. We investigated the result and found that the Sapphire Hybrid x700 Pro was actually 16% faster than the MSI NX 6600 GT with the SM2.0 benchmarks. If the Sapphire Hybrid x700 Pro had Shadermark 3.0 support then then it would outperform the MSI NX 6600 GT."
