COMMENT - "Supreme Commander is the most demanding game we have benchmarked, with the high number of game units it mostly puts stress on the processor. This is why we have limited the amount of game units so it is more of a video card benchmark not a cpu benchmark. As you can see the Connect3D Radeon x1950 Pro and Sapphire Radeon x1800 GTO have no problems running Supreme Commander using low quality settings. These are not settings we would recommend however because they make Supreme Commander look more like Total Annihilation. The Connect3D Radeon x1950 Pro wins this benchmark by beating the Sapphire Radeon x1800 GTO by between 13% to 34%."

COMMENT - "We are now using medium quality and this is the type of quality I would be comfortable playing Supreme Commander. The Connect3D Radeon x1950 Pro puts in a good performance although the medium quality settings has reduced it's performance forcing the Connect3D Radeon x1950 Pro to use 1024x768 and 1280x1024 only. The Sapphire Radeon x1800 GTO is even worse off and is only marginally playable at 1024x768. The Connect3D Radeon x1950 Pro outperforms the Sapphire Radeon x1800 GTO with Supreme Commander by 29% to 43%."

COMMENT - "Compared to the Supreme Commander medium quality results little has changed, both of the video cards take a tiny performance hit using high quality. The Connect3D Radeon x1950 Pro beats the Sapphire Radeon x1800 GTO by 27% to 45%."
