So what will these new video cards feature Specification and Performance wise:- The AMD Radeon HD 7970 uses the new 28nm Tahiti Process with a brand new architecture. The AMD Radeon HD 7970 will come with 2048 stream processors with 3gb Gddr5 Memory that uses the 384bit bus width. The AMD Radeon HD 7970 has a core speed of 925mhz but AMD claims the AMD Radeon HD 7970 can be overclocked to 1000mhz. The AMD Radeon HD 7970 uses a new type of cooling method provided by a heat sink with a sixth generation vapor chamber and an improved fan design. Performance reports have shown that the AMD Radeon HD 7970 has a 30% performance advantage over the Radeon HD 6970 which is very impressive. The AMD Radeon HD 7970 has performance close to the dual gpu Radeon HD 6990."
