(09/06) SAPPHIRE RADEON X1650 PRO REVIEW AT ULTIMATE HARDWARE - "The powerful Sapphire Radeon x1650 Pro with 256MB DDR3, Ringbus, Avivo and Crossfire is pitted against the MSI NX 6600 GT. The Sapphire Radeon x1650 Pro is almost identical to the earlier x1600 XT apart from the Sapphire Radeon x1650's lower price tag and slightly faster memory/core speeds."
(09/06) SAPPHIRE RADEON X1300 XT REVIEW AT ULTIMATE HARDWARE - "The lastest mainstream video card from ATI's Radeon x1000 family of video cards the Sapphire Radeon x1300 XT is reviewed against the MSI NX 7300 GT. The Sapphire Radeon x1300 XT is closer related to the x1600 Pro than the x1300 Pro which should make for a good battle with the MSI NX 7300 GT. The Sapphire Radeon x1300 XT should be the ideal video card to bridge the gap between the Radeon x1300 Pro and the Radeon x1650 Pro."
(09/06) NVIDIA VIDEO CHART UPDATED AT ULTIMATE HARDWARE - "Geforce 7950 GT and Geforce 7900 GS specifications added."

(09/06) HIS X1650PRO ICEQ TURBO REVIEW AT VIPERLAIR - "HIS X1650Pro IceQ Turbo Dual DL-DVI 256MB GDDR3 PCIe: With perhaps the most descriptive product name in the market, HIS' latest mainstream offering leaves no question on what you're getting in the box."
(09/06) VISIONTEK PCI RADEON X1300 256 MB REVIEW AT HARD OCP - "The ATI Radeon X1300 GPU is manufactured in a 90nm process and packs 105 million transistors. It provides four pixel shaders, two vertex shaders, supports up to 128 simultaneous pixel threads, and runs at 450 MHz on this video card. The VisionTek Radeon X1300 PCI sports 256 MB of DDR2 memory running at 533 MHz on a 64-bit bus, a standard 15-pin VGA connector, a Dual-Link DVI-I connector, and the standard HDTV out connector. Clearly this is the slowest version of the ATI Radeon X1300 you can get. The 64-bit memory bus and reduction in pixel shader processors and vertex processors severely cripple the performance of this GPU."
(09/06) SIS 771/966 MOTHERBOARD REVIEW AT OCW - "SiS makes a come back with the release of its SIS 771/966 chipsets for the AM2 platform. (09/06) INTEL UNCORKS QUAD CORES AND A TERAFLOP CHIP AT TECH REPORT - "One of the most notable ways Intel plans to make use of its Core chips in the coming months is by deploying them in the same sort of dual-chip package used in the Netburst-based Presler and Dempsey products, essentially cramming two dual-core CPUs into a single processor socket to make a "quad core" result. We've known about these products, code-named Kentsfield for the desktop and Clovertown for servers, for some time now, but Intel recently announced these processors would launch later this year, rather than in early 2007 as originally planned. The decision to pull these products forward into late '06 isn't entirely surprising given the relative ease of gluing a pair of Core 2 Duo chips together on a single package."
(09/06) SAPPHIRE RADEON X1300 XT GDDR3 REVIEW AT HEXUS - "We thought we'd see what shifting the RV530Pro GPU down into the X1300 series does to that section of the graphics market. We've got our grubby mitts on a pair of X1300 XTs, one from GeCube, the other from Sapphire. We'll be squaring them up against a GeForce 7300 GT and 7300 GS."
(09/06) MSI NX 7950 GX2 REVIEW AT VIPERLAIR - "The MSI NX7950GX2-T2D1GE we'll be looking at today falls somewhere in between. What you get here is essentially two upper ranged GPUs paired up together in one card. Unlike SLI, provided you have a supported motherboard, you do not need a chipset from NVIDIA for this card to work. Imagine, multi-GPU action from NVIDIA on a CrossFire board."
(09/06) ATI RELEASE CATALYST v6.9 DRIVER AT ATI - "Performance improvements: 3DMark2006 overall performance improves 6.7-23.7% with anti-aliasing enabled due to improvements in HyperZ efficiency on the Radeon X1300, X1600 and X1800 series of products. The largest gains can be seen on Crossfire configurations and/or 256MB card configurations at resolutions of 1280x1024 or greater. Doom3 performances improves up to 9.3% due to further OpenGL shader complier and transform engine optimizations on the entire Radeon X1000 Series of products. The largest gains can be seen on Radeon X1900 configurations at resolutions of 1600x1200 or higher."
(09/06) COMPANY OF HEROES PERFORMANCE AT AMDZONE - "Since Company of Heroes does use some of the latest next-gen tech we felt that we had to test it right away. Luckily Relic has made this a snap, including a performance demo in the graphics options section of the game. It runs through a long cut scene and gives you the minimum, maximum, and average frames per second. We set all all settings to their maximum and ran through the demos a number of time to ensure accurate results."
(09/06) BFG GEFORCE 7950 GT OC REVIEW AT PCPER - "The GeForce 7950 GT being introduced today is based on the G71 core, but unlike the 7900 GS from last week, the 7950 GT isn't crippled in terms of pixel pipes. The 7950 GT sports a full 24 pixel pipes, the same as the 7900 GTX and 7900 GT. The 7950 GT will also keep the 512MB GDDR3 memory buffer that has helped the 7900 GTX become the beast of a card it is. The clock speeds of the 7950 GT will run at 550 MHz core and 700 MHz memory by default, though you can be sure (since we have two of them here) that vendors will be overclocking these GPUs in their retail forms as well. And just to clarify, we are looking at a video card with a single GPU on it -- the 7950 in this case does not equate to dual on-board GPUs, as the 7950 GX2 card has."
(09/06) XFX GEFORCE 7950 GT REVIEW AT TECHREPORT - "THESE DAYS, VIDEO CARDS ARE like shark's teeth: one pops out, and another one moves up to take its place. The most recent GeForce to come loose is the 7900 GT; it was dislodged by last week's launch of the GeForce 7900 GS, which offers the same performance for about a hundred bucks less. The 7900 GT's demise leaves Nvidia with a hole it its lineup at around $299, and so the GeForce 7950 GT makes its debut today as the 7900 GT's replacement."
(09/06) XFX GEFORCE 7950 GT REVIEW AT HOTHARDWARE - "The GeForce 7950 GT we'll be evaluating today comes by way of XFX. In typical XFX fashion, the company has mutliple GeForce 7950 GT offerings in their product stack, the $299 PV-T71J-YHF9, which is clocked at NVIDIA's reference specifications of 550MHz / 1.4GHz, and the $329 PV-T71J-YHE9 which is not only clocked a bit higher at 570MHz / 1.46GHZ, but also sports a silent, passive cooling solution."
(09/06) AMD SEMPRON 3600+ 2.0GHz SOCKET AM2 REVIEW AT PCSTATS - "In this review PCSTATS will match the 2.0GHz Sempron 3600+ processor with some high speed/low latency DDR2-800 memory, and as the benchmarks and discussion unfold we'll find out if the Sempron 3600+ is the real best buy of the bunch. Get your cup of coffee ready, and let's begin."
(09/06) CONNECT3D RADEON X1900 GT REVIEW AT TECHREPORT - "THE RADEON X1900 GT FINDS itself in a precarious situation right about now. Formerly ATI's key offering at $299, the X1900 GT's replacement has recently been announced in the form of the Radeon X1900 XT 256MB. This new hotness is scheduled to hit the virtual shelves of online stores later this week. Meanwhile, ATI is rumored to be preparing a new Radeon model to take on the brand-new GeForce 7900 GS at $199. That leaves the X1900 GT cowering in the shadows of the oncoming wheels of progress."
(09/06) ZOGIS OVERCLOCKED GEFORCE 7300 GT REVIEW AT HARDWARE SECRETS - "Zogis is the newest player in the VGA market and they teamed up with nVidia. We’ve got an overclocked GeForce 7300 GT for reviewing, and we will compare this video card with the regular GeForce 7300 GT and other entry-level models, such as GeForce 6200, Radeon X1300 Pro and also with some mid-range chips (GeForce 6600 and GeForce 6600 GT) to see how is the performance of this video card from Zogis."
(09/06) ATI RADEON X1650 PRO AND X1300 XT REVIEW AT HOTHARDWARE - "ATI is also announcing a new graphics card today targeted at mainstream users, the Radeon X1650 Pro. The new Radeon X1650 Pro is basically an evolution of the Radeon X1600 XT, but with slightly higher clock speeds and a lower introductory price-point."
(09/06) NVIDIA GEFORCE 7900 GS PREVIEW AT NVNEWS - "NVIDIA is announcing two new Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) based on the GeForce 7900 Series architecture today - the GeForce 7900 GS and GeForce 7950 GT. Graphics cards based on the GeForce 7900 GS will be available immediately at prices ranging from $199 to $249, while GeForce 7950 GT based graphics cards will be available on September 14 and range in price from $299 to $349."
(09/06) NVIDIA GEFORCE 7900 GS REVIEW AT TECHREPORT - "We've already seen ATI make its first moves in this seasonal ritual, lifting the curtains on the Radeon X1950 XTX and its more affordable cousin, the Radeon X1900 XTX 256MB. Now it's Nvidia's turn to respond with a new GeForce that knows one very cool trick: how to perform like a $300 card while selling for about two hundred bucks. This new GeForce 7900 GS will make your phosphor glow in successive colors almost as rapidly as the GeForce 7900 GT, but it runs quieter and costs less. This isn't exactly a revolutionary upsurge in graphics power, but it's better than burning your hand on a Pentium 4."
(09/06) XFX GEFORCE 7900 GS PREVIEW AT PCPER - "From NVIDIA's PR slide-deck, here are the high-points on the new 7900 GS GPU. It is clocked at 450 MHz core and 660 MHz memory speeds, at a minimum, though we are already seeing factory-overclocked cards from manufacturers like XFX (we are reviewing it today) and BFG. The 7900 GS video cards will sport 256MB of GDDR3 memory and support two dual-link DVI outputs for powering monitors as awesome as the Dell 3007WFP."
