"We are testing Intel Core i3 2100 processor against AMD Athlon II X3 455 processor. Intel Core i3 2100 is clocked at 3100Mhz and AMD Athlon II X3 455 is clocked at 3300Mhz. We will be using Benchmarks for testing Intel Core i3 2100 and AMD Athlon II X3 455 which are:- Divx, Povray, Sysmark 2007, Windows Media Encoder, Dragon Age Origins and World of Warcraft. Intel Core i3 2100 has 7% lower clock speed than AMD Athlon II X3 455 but Intel Core i3 2100 has 3MB L3 Cache while AMD Athlon II X3 455 has none. Intel Core i3 2100 also has Hyper Threading Technology which makes up for it being only Dual Core."
